Membership

Membership in the Canadian Council on International Law is open to anyone with an interest in public and/or private international law, without regard to profession, location or nationality. There are currently over 300 members of the CCIL from within Canada and around the world, including international legal scholars, practitioners and students, as well as judges and journalists, among others.

Membership in the CCIL provides access to the activities, facilities and networks of the Council. The main benefits of membership include:

Access to a network of professionals with similar interests;
Advance information and registration for the Annual Conference;
eBulletin of news and developments in international law;
Special invitations to CCIL sponsored events;
Discounted rate of $66USD per volume/per year on the print copy the Canadian Yearbook of International Law (regular price $285USD)

Become a Member

CCIL membership for 2024-2025 is valid from the date of purchase until the end of October 2025 and must be renewed each year. A reminder that when you register for the Annual Conference, CCIL membership is automatically included with your registration fees for that given year.

Payment must be made online by credit card (Visa or MasterCard accepted). Membership fees are exempt from HST.
